Zoom announced human avatars today for its video meeting app to make meeting more “interesting”. Avatars are customizable virtual characters that can be created by users and used in their app like Zoom.
By introducing Human Avatar, Zoom has given option to create and display ‘virtual You’ with numerous personalized combinations in a way that is original and fun! Avatars mirror user’s movements and facial expressions, allowing him to present himself dynamically without needing to be on video.
Avatars are currently available in beta to all Zoom users globally.
Zoom also launched animal avatar earlier last year.
